PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: March 2026. This notice describes how BEAM CTRL may handle information when you run or connect to an instance of the software.
LOCAL & SELF-HOSTED USE
BEAM CTRL is commonly run on your own computer or LAN. In that setup, show data (fixtures, cues, users, etc.) is stored as JSON files on the machine running the server. That data does not leave your network unless you configure backups, sync, or remote access yourself.
ACCOUNT & AUTHENTICATION
Sign-in uses bearer tokens stored in your browser. Passwords for registered users are stored hashed on the server. You are responsible for securing the host, choosing strong passwords, and restricting network access (firewall, VPN, HTTPS reverse proxy) if the server is exposed beyond a trusted network.
REGISTRATION DATA
If you use the optional registration form on the marketing site, the information you submit is sent to your server instance and stored according to its configuration (typically in users.json or related application data). No separate “cloud” is implied unless you deploy one.
LOGS & DIAGNOSTICS
Server logs may include connection metadata, errors, and debugging information. Review log retention and access on your deployment.
CHANGES
This policy may be updated as the product evolves. For production deployments, replace or extend this page with text that matches your jurisdiction and data practices.
